The Abalo necklace is approximately 28-30 inches in length, non-elastic, and has no clasp. Slip it over your head for easy, on-the-go wear. Paper beads in various sizes are interspersed with gold-tone, shiny seed beads in a single strand. You can expect colors to vary slightly from photos due to the unique crafstmanship. Paper beads are made from individually cut strips of paper, then tightly rolled and dipped in varnish. Next, the beads are strung in unique patterns that represent the individuality of the artisan who created it. The independent women who design and build these pieces are changing the lives and circumstances for their families with these fair-trade jewelry pieces.
